This is a blog and podcast series that provides you tips and thoughts on how to develop your leadership style, and what it means to find and use your leader voice. I started this in 2019 as a passion project, and I’m finding my way on my own leadership journey. My leader voice is one of understanding, empathy, and also being the cheerleader and support person that folks didn’t know they needed.
It is said that leaders aren’t leaders because of their title or tenure, and I believe that. Leadership is earned; it is not for everyone; and leadership development is never complete. Leaders are all around you every day; they are not always people-managers and they most certainly are not always obvious! Think about who you like to reach out to or emulate; that’s a leader.
My contents are geared towards early development on the leadership journey, yet I do believe that seasoned leaders will also find some healthy reminders to be brilliant with the basics. Whether you are learning to lead your self, or learning to lead others, there’s something here for everyone.
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”John Quincy Adams
All of the blog posts are short with tips and advice you can put to use immediately, and the podcasts will compliment the blog posts with 5 minutes or less of content to further your leadership development journey.
So pull up a chair, pop in your earbuds, and let’s get on this leadership journey together!
Lead on, everyone!
